I taught myself how to video edit and animate during the Covid-19 lockdowns by following YouTube tutorials. This was when I really fell in love with film –– I would spend hours figuring out how to recut my favourite films into a one minute edit that functioned like a trailer and an entire recap at the same time. A collection of my past edits are on @lizmovs (which used to be called @filmjdw from 2021-2025). There's a huge part of me who still loves the concept of remixing existing works to turn them into something new.
