LISIANNE CHAN IS A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY STORYTELLER CURRENTLY BASED IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.
She began her creative career as an independent hand lettering teacher at PAPERMARKET SINGAPORE. As a hand lettering artist, she has been a selected feature in TYPISM book 7, 8 and 9 (2021-2023). Most recently, she assisted GEMMA O'BRIEN with her artaid australia exhibition 'the sun' (2023).
Her video editing and motion graphics projects have created viral internet videos with more than 961.3k likes on tiktok. In 2023, she directed AND EDITED a short student documentary about sign lettering in sydney WITH GOOD HANDS SIGN CO.
She is a contributor for the online film publication SWITCH., where she writes film reviews. She is currently competing in the second round of the 2024 NYC MIDNIGHT SCREENWRITING COMPETITION. SHE ENJOYS WRITING COMEDY, ACTION AND SCI-FI.
She has interned with the conference producing team at SXSW SYDNEY, and assisted in a writer's room for "GOING HOME", a screen AUSTRALIA-funded web series that is now in DEVELOPMENT.
